Biography:

Barry E. Borowitz is a founding partner of Borowitz & Clark LLP, a leading bankruptcy law firm that represents clients petitioning for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 of the bankruptcy code.

Mr. Borowitz is board certified in Consumer Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification and has been practicing bankruptcy law exclusively for almost 30 years. He has successfully represented thousands of individuals in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases helping them overcome their financial hardships. Mr. Borowitz also was an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School teaching their Consumer Bankruptcy Clinic.

Mr. Borowitz received his J.D. in 1993 from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, CA where he graduated magna cum laude and was the Edward D. Di Loreto Scholarship recipient. He is a member of the California State Bar and admitted to the Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California. In addition, he is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), the American Consumer Bankruptcy College (ACBC), and is a Charter Member of the Central District of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Association (CDCBAA).
